Membership

The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that is member-focused and passionate about maintaining the Grand Coulee Dam Area as a sustainable economic environment through business promotion, advocacy, education, tourism support, and service. As Chamber members, you play a vital role in the health of our community and the strength of the Chamber lies in its members’ investment of time, energy, talent, and financial resources.

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce currently supports the businesses of Coulee Dam, Electric City, Elmer City and Grand Coulee.

The first Chamber of Commerce in the area was formed in 1936 in the town of Grand Coulee. Two years later a Chamber of Commerce was also formed in Coulee Dam. The two institutions worked and met independently but did coordinated community events until 1977. At that time it was overwhelmingly voted by chamber members to combine the two Chambers into one and the current Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce was born.

The manager of the Chamber of Commerce is Peggy Nevsimal. The Chamber office is located at 17 Midway Avenue in Grand Coulee and the hours of operation are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.
